I have been practicing focusing manually with my camera today. I chose hover flies as my target as they float in space and keep darting about so I didn't have much time to dilly or dally.

I took about one hundred photographs, three worked. Here in the best one.

I wonder why they do this hovering business, I would have thought it would make them prime targets for robins and sparrows (if there were any left) to eat.
